Whole computer crashed presumably by GPU

Hello!

My computer crashes 30 to 60 seconds after I start a game.

What happens after the crash seems differ everytime. Sometimes it's a solid black screen, the next time it's green and the next time it's blue. I even had a screen with squares of every colour possible. The audio stutters and then freezes. Although 75% of the time my monitor shuts off and greets me with a 'out of range' message.

This started yesterday and I've tried switching my VGA cable, using a HDMI one, reinstalling my drivers, playing in windowed mode, overclock, underclock etc.

I am not 100% sure if this is my GPUs fault but I assume it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

CPU: i3-4160
GPU: MSI GTX 960 2G
MB: ASRock B85M Pro4
Monitor: ASUS VG248QE

I have a Cooler Master G550M. I started 3DMark and it crashed 30 seconds in.

It doesn't crash when I'm not playing a game but I've had some crashes when I try to press the Windows button and the menu comes up laggy and my PC crashes.

Also, it seems like it crashes only on demanding games like Overwatch, Battlefield 1, Hearts of Iron IV or Civ VI. I've tried starting up lesser demanding games like RuneScape and MapleStory and it just runs fine.

I've tried switching GPU's with another computer. The 960 does just fine in another rig. When I put an R7 270x in my current rig it shuts off two seconds after I start it up. Is it a PSU problem?

How much and what type of RAM do your have?

Download and use WhoCrashed. Post the logs here.

P.S. I came back to MS about 2 weeks ago and play on Broa. What server do you play on?
