in team fortress 2, i decided to test how far can my graphic card can go. so i loaded the game with the lowest possible settings, got around 60 fps, but dropped to 20 if lot of stuff was going on. then tried the highest settings and fps was the exact same, no difference at all same fps.

cpu: intel quad 2 q8200
gpu: geforce gtx550 ti
ram 3,25 (32 bit)
1 tb of ram and asrock g31m-gs
so i would like to know why the fps is the same
