Just built a pc and I can't connect to wifi!!'

My computer won't connect to wifi. No networks are showing up!! What do I need so it can connect to a network? I have a home router but I am not sure what else I need or if I need another router just for my computer.

Does your motherboard have a WiFi adapter? Most desktop boards don't.
If it does, have you installed the drivers for it?
