Hello all, recently I have been having trouble with the Asus Maximus VIII Hero, fed up as I have gone through 2 defective motherboards,I finally ordered the Asus Strix 270E- Gaming. Now, as all you probably know, Intel came out with the I7-7700k series. I have a 6700k, and do not see a point in upgrading it at this point in time.
MOBO: ASUS STRIX 270E Gaming
CPU: Intel I7 6700k Skylake
Hard Drive: 256 Transend SSD
Case: Thermal Take Core P3 SE
PSU: 500 EVGA watt supply
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8) 16 gigs. 3000 MHz.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H75. I will use Arctic 5 thermal paste.

Anyways, long story short, I want to know if my 270 motherboard will get every bit of performance from my Skylake. Thank you so much.

Motherboard doesn't effect CPU performance unless you plan on overclocking. You'll be fine with the Z270 board.
