will a WD 2tb xbox one usb external hd work for pc

Solution
The format that XBone format it in is not reable by windows. Its like buying a WD Passport Mac Edition. It isn't that you can't use it on windows, its that it isn't formatted for windows. You can take it, format a Mac HD into NTFS and back you have it working on windows. A hard drive is a hard drive and can be used on almost any machine so long as you have the proper interface (IDE/SATA/SCSI/SAS/USB/Etc)
