Ok, so I bought one of the Cryorig R1 Ultimates and decided to slap it onto my old A-10 5800K CPU I've had for a while before I finish getting my new mobo for the 9590 I purchased. Anyway, I had to take the shroud, fins, whatever, off of my GSKILL RIPJAW X RAM. Unplugged and plugged them back in and boom, I only have 16gb of RAM detected by Windows. I have 4 sticks so that turns out to be 32gb. I took the CMOS battery out and waited a little bit before I put it back in and nothing still. I'm not sure if they're just not seated all the way but I'm not taking that fan back out unless need be, the stupid thermal paste gave me hell. If anyone has any other ideas, besides I may have jacked up the RAM, would you chime in please? System is still running fine and all that but it's just annoying knowing you have more than is being detected.

Thank you in advance.

Have you tested the RAM you stripped by itself?

Complete power down. Unplug PC. Remove all power cables from card and board. Remove CMOS battery. Hold power button for 5 seconds. Reassemble but leave the CMOS battery out. Boot to Windows and power down. Replace CMOS battery and make any changes in your BIOS that you need to.

Can you perform a jumper CMOS reset?

Any button on your board to reset cmos?

I have the cmos jumper cables somewhere. I'll hate to go looking for them, never done one before so they've just sat around. And not that I've noticed but I have never bothered looking so there's that. I'm going to try and here in the next hour or two. I'll get back to you.
