This is going to be my very first pc build and I just want to make sure that everything is good and how long it will last me. I won't be able to make an upgrade for around 1-2 years at the earliest, so I want to try to have something that will carry me awhile.
MOBO: MSI B250M Mortar
Processor: Intel i5 7500
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce
Ram:8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 RAM
Storage: A recycled 1tb HDD with OS, Sandisk 120GB SSD
Psu: I already own a 650 watt one
Case: I have a case already.
All in all this would leave me with around 150 dollars. Would it be better to spend this on a GTX 1070, or get a few games and some peripherals. (My mouse and keyboard are dirt cheap and my monitor is trash, and I own no pc games)
Thnaks in advance!

Hi console,

Your build looks good - one suggestion-
Swap out the gtx 1060 for a amd Radeon rx480. You can get the 8gb for a better value than the gtx 1060-
Also I would load the os onto the SSD and use the 1tb for other storage to maximize speed.
Save the additional money for a new Monitor and a couple of games. Ask for a key board and motherboard for your b day or save it for it later.

Is it hard to move the OS onto the ssd? Also, what are the chances of the HDD failing/ (It is going on 5 years)
