Which build is much better? Q6600 build vs G4560 build

Hi guys! My current PC specs are:
Mobo : G41MT - S2 DDR3
CPU : Core 2 Quad Q6600
GPU : GeForce 9500GT
RAM : 4GB DDR3

I have a tight budget and was hoping to upgrade either the CPU or the GPU

For the GPU I was planning to get Gigabyte GTX 1050 G1 GAMING 2GB 128Bit GDDR5 to replace the GeForce 9500GT

Should I or should I not get it and get H110M-DS2-DDR4 and G4560 instead?

I want to use it to play games like NBA 2K17, Dragon Age: Inquisition and etc.

Any thoughts guys?

I think your best bet is a GPU upgrade, but may I suggest for you to pickup maybe a GTX750ti used, you said you're on a tight budget and this is quite a good option. Your CPU is pretty slow in today's comparisson. A 1050ti is quite overkill, i mean, yes it would look nicer, but is it worth the extra $$$? I don't think so. Right now many people are getting rid of their 750ti and getting themselves a 1050ti, so there are many around for a great price.

overall, no doubt you are in need for a full system update.

Also, if you save enough money, you should get 8GB ram (another 4gb budget brand should work just fine)

Yeah that's what I thought too, I mean I found a cheap 1050 but at that price, I could buy the MOBO and the CPU with a 4GB RAM I could throw in some couple of money for 8GB. So, I should go for the GPU?
