Will my CPU bottleneck my GPU?

I have the Radeon R9 270x Twin Frozr for my GPU and possibly buying either the i5 6600 or the i5 7600 for my CPU.

does this two balance each other out?

I will be playing games like Battlefield1, Overwatch, CSGO etc.

If you can wait until the 11th Ryzen 5 should be released. Games like BF1 benefit from more than 4 cores/threads. It's going to be interesting to see if Ryzen 5 can get close to i7 performance for i5 money.

Both CPUs won't bottleneck the R9 270X, but i5 7600 will perform better (higher clock speed, newer model,...). Any of those FPS you play will have excellent gameplay on high settings ( Not sure about BF1, maybe Medium ).
