Okay I have 32gb of trident z rgb 3200mhz and using cpuid cpu-z on my pc it only says it is running at 1064 or something close to that but I have tired changing the settings manually in the bios and also tried just turning on the x amp function in the bios. It was at 1330 but I tried taking the ram out and putting it back in the way the motherboard manual told me too ( i didn't do that the first time ) i am using the x370 motherboards for ryzen 7 so maybe it's that but I have the newest version of the bios. I am new to the whOle custom computer thing so idk if maybe these speeds are normal or not. Please help me understand either how to increase the speed like I want or tell me if this speed is okay

Solution
Hi Cody Miller :)

CPUz is correct being DDR (Double Data Rate)and your RAM is defaulting in Bios to 2133MHz. Your XMP profiles may not be recognized at this time so wait for Bios updates.

You are on the new AM4 platform and Bios developers are still working to address new RAM.
You speed is OK but not running at its rated speed and this requires changes to Primary Timing and voltage in Bios and can be a frustrating exercise trying to get them to work. Be patient Cody Miller as we are all going thru this process atm.
