The tv im getting is VIZIO SmartCast™ E-Series 70” Class Ultra HD HDR Home Theater Display w/ Chromecast built-in

Solution
Will certainly work, and understand if you have some of the materials on hand already. Newer hardware is available though, and at less than you had listed:

ty wolf and geek!

and ty for updating me to pascal, wasnt sure how a dedicated gpu on a computer end would factor into streaming to 1080p/2160x1440p+ content to a tv so appreciate it!

**Went back to gigabyte lol https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xCjHKZ could saved $40 but whatevs just a preference thing

yeah for more then browsing it certainly has delay and unresponsiveness, going to look at wireless solutions as well as a way to implement a swinging desk to the couch to play on

i dont suppose a 2.0 hub is possible for other connections to remain at 2.0?

thats unfortunate, im going to look at see if the other versions have more than one 2.0 port
