Hello,

I am from India and I have ASUS M4A88T-M motherboard, AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor, 28 GB RAM and Windows 7 64 bit OS with Cooler Master K100 cabinet. I am planning to buy a new graphics card which suites well with my board. My budget is 5k for the graphics card. Can some one please suggest. Which manufacture will be better Nvidia or ATI Radeon?

For compatibility I'd advise sticking with AMD for that motherboard. An RX 460 for example. You don't specify games you're playing or the resolution of the monitor, or details of your power supply so I can't say more.

If you have 5k to spend, upgrade the motherboard and CPU as well, it will be world's better than any Phenom II. As to AMD or Nvidia, go for Nvidia or wait for AMD Vega.

Although AMD will generally have better price to performance, there should be no differences in compatibility between graphics cards and motherboards, unless it is a power issue. Nvidia cards will work fine on your motherboard, although any modern graphics card will likely be bottlenecked by your CPU.
