I have a MSI GTX 970 4G graphics card on my PC, it has 4 ports (DVI*2, HDMI*1, DP*1) , so I could connect 4 monitors to it. Now, I want to connect 4 more monitors, so 8 monitors in total.

GTX 970 is expensive, so I want to buy another 4 ports graphics card with lower cost.

I don't need SLI or CrossFire, I don't need any performance enhancement, I just need more monitors to display. Any suggesttions?

And, Is it possible to run two different 4 ports graphics cards at the same time to have 8 monitors
(each card connect 4 monitors)?

My motherboard : Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x16
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x8

My OS : Windows 10 Pro

Solution
Because you need the low-cost GPU, and you ready had the gtx970, also you don't want to sli.

The gtx750ti maybe the cheapest one, when you add other nvidia gpu that can support the 4 monitors, then you will run it in physx mode.
