MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Dual Fans OC 6GB vs MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB

In my country the MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Dual Fans OC 6GB is 90$ cheaper than the MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X. Is there any big differences between the two cards other than the cooling and the backplate? Because i dont really feel like paying 90$ extra for a backplate.

If budget is a concern, get the cheaper one. They are both GTX 1060 and will perform the same, except for looks, cooling, noise, temps, and clock speeds (slight difference only).

So the cards will perform the same? Is the cooling alot better on the gaming x or is it nearly the same?

During gaming load, the Gaming X is about ~4C cooler and about ~3dBA quieter than the Dual OC: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_1060_OC/27.html

So, if ~$100 is a big deal for you, budget-wise, for that slight difference (and the looks/aesthetics), get the cheaper one. They will perform the same as both are GTX 1060 6GB (slight difference in clock speeds/slight difference in fps -- but only less than ~1 or ~1.5fps at most)
