Imaging this, I load up my game (Rust) and for the first 2-3 mins its working fine cpu working at 50-60% getting 100 frames then after the 2-3 mins the cpu usage drops to about 10-20% and doesn't budge, doesn't boost doesn't go to 0% just stays where it is, while ingame the frames stay about 10-20 again they do not drop to 0 fps or completely crash it just runs slow, just need to know before I splash out on a new cpu, motherboard and RAM if their is any way of fixing this? cause I cant really afford it xD]

Sounds like a threading issue. What CPU and game is the problem occuring in? Custom settings may fix the issue. Also what heatsink are you using as the CPU could be getting hot and throttling. Try setting windows power settings to performance for testing.

Could be many things.
The fact that you run ok for a while tells me that your cpu and gpu are adequate.
Perhaps you have a heat issue and the cpu is throttling.
Take the case covers off and see if that helps.
Perhaps it is a game coding issue and the game needs a patch.
