I'll either go with the Asus Prime x370- Pro Gaming or Astock x370 Taichi. Can't decide which one is the better bet.

Anyone who owns one of these boards or knows which one would be ideal?

I couldn't tell you which is better, but I'm glad to share my experience with ASRock. I've owned 3 motherboards from ASRock over the last 13 years and they all still function. I have not yet been disappointed by their products, I can't say that about ASUS.

I'm currently using the ASUS Prime x370 with the Ryzen 7 1800. No complaints here except for the sharpest mobo heatsinks my knuckles have ever hit. It's a nice board with a nice BIOS.
