So, my computer is crashing where the screen goes green with vertical lines and the sound bugs out. Then I have to forcequit.

Now , I've tried to do a clean install but that didnt work and also update different drivers with no help. Do I really have to buy and upgrade someting? If so help!

My event log says under critical;
41 Kernel-Power
404 Taskscheduler

Specs:

AMD Radeon R9 200 / HD 7900 Series
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz
RAM - 16 GB
Silver power 750watt

the only thing i could think of it being, not a technical upgrade issue, but a cable being loose like the really small cables in the mobo for wiring. i forget what its called. they're really small and theres 8-12 off the top of my head, like pw+ and -, HD, etc

I have this same issue and im pretty sure its my hdmi port, every time i touch or unplug a cable next to it i get the green screen. Then i have to force shut down my pc, positive its the display port though. Because i replaced my last hdmi because of this same issue, the new cable i have now has hooks so it wont come out. Lol as i type I literally just got a green screen from cleaning my setup.
