Hi guys, I'm waiting for my gtx 1060 6gb this week and I'm already thinking of an upgrade to my CPU.

For now, those are my parts
CPU: i5 4440 3.1Ghz
MB: LGA 1150 mATX GA-B85M-D3PH
PSU: Corsair CX500 V2 500W
Monitor: 1920x1080 Full HD
GTX 670FTW (Will be replaced for the GTX1060 6GB)

My MB socket is the LGA1150, my question is:
1-Should I look for a CPU with this same socket (Because I just this MB, my other one was damaged and I wanted to use the computer), or should I look for another motherboard with another socket to get a better CPU.

2- Which CPU is better for me to play games with this socket and why?

Solution
Okay, I would just keep your CPU you have now, its perfectly fine paired with a 1060, and save and get a z270 and i7 7700k or X360 and R7 1700. You could get a i7 4790k, but the newer cpus are cheaper (new) and faster, support ddr4 and stuff like that. If I were you, I would just wait for a while, get the newest i7 7700k equivalent, and the 1080 equivalent. No need to get a new CPU for a 1060. Hope I could help.

Is it worth to stay with gen4 CPU ? It's that much diference from a 3.1 to a 3.5ghz?

The i7s have hyperthreading.

But as I said, your i5 is fine

I see, i couldn't find this x360 MB, google only shows me Xbox360 lol
So I guess it's time to save some money for this upgrade, i still don't know how 1060 will run my games. I guess I will keep the 4440 for now then.

Thank you sir !

I will keep my i5 for now then,

Thank you for your time !

I upgraded from i5 4430 to i7 4790K because I have a motherboard that supports overclocking, its one of the boards with z-chipset but in your case its not worth it.
You may be able to find some good deals on Skylake cpus, like i7 6700k and i5 6600K and boards now that Kabylake has become more mainstream
the newer Kabylake is only maginally better
