Hi
I have a question wether or not it's safe to put a cpu into a maybe defect mobo?
I have no idea of what problems there could be on the mobo.
Thanks in advance!

Well... I actually Dont know anything about the problem, only that its defective. It could be some bend pins, Missing battery, so IT is'nt necessarily a fault in the way IT Works.

So lets suggest that it is something unrelated to the CPU, say the PCI-E slots, aside from the PCI-E lanes coming from the CPU, a fault here could lead to a short or an overvoltage condition hitting the CPU = dead CPU, ditto with many other subsystems.

So you have maybe a 60% chance of it being something wrong that does not break the CPU, 40% that it will. So use a dirt cheap CPU to test it. Then ask yourself why bother? So you test it and find it doesn't work, odds on you aren't going to be able to fix it, and you've a CPU that is working (or not) that's redundant. Or you find that it does work, and you've got a board with a dirt cheap underpowered CPU. Either way you are left out of pocket and with or without a poor system.

Okay, i think i'm gonna test IT with a cheap cpu, but can the powers supply be damaged by the mobo?

Depends, assume anything you connect can be damaged and you are lucky if it isn't.
