EVGA 20 + 4p Cables won't fit together

Hello, I just bought a EVGA 600w bronze psu, when I was trying to connect the 20 + 4p cables into the mothernoard I noticed they had different lengths. Not sure if this is how they're supposed to be, but i can't seem to plug those into my motherboard together without the 4p being slightly above due to the different length. Here's an image of how it looks:

Edit: Fixed, just needed to pull the cables out a bit.

It sure looks like it should be do-able in that pic. But if you are positive the 4-pin won't slip under/next to the 20-pin, then you have no alternative but to return the PSU for another.

But it looks like the 20-pin wires can compress or bend enough to bring the connectors in alignment.
