Do USB splitters exist?

Hi there

This is an odd question I know; but here's my deal. I'm streaming with two PC's and will be purchasing a higher quality USB mic in the near future. My question: is it possible to split a USB signal to two devices? I have HDMI splitters and such but never really knew if this was doable with USB devices. What I want to do is use the mic on both of my PC's, simultaneously.

Thanks in advance

Solution
No, USB requires a device to device communication and wont be splitable like that.
You can get an A or B switch but cant have A and B simultaniously.
You could get a splitter that would work with a 3.5mm microphone. That splitter would require a diode or other means of preventing mic from getting voltage from allowing both PCs to feed the mic input voltage.

Thanks a lot! I might look into that type of mic instead

I would go analog if you want to do that(2 systems at once).

I would watch out with trying a diode in line with a mic because while it will block voltage in one direction, it will also cut off half the sound wave(providing you even have enough voltage to get it to conduct in the first place). A capacitor will prevent DC from flowing while allowing the AC(signal you want) to pass.

If the mic requires a voltage(as many may) you will need at least one of the sound cards providing that voltage. This gets outside of what normal users do, but some kind of buffer or mixer could easily drive to line in or mic inputs and is fairly diy friendly.
