600w enough for this setup?

Hello.

I have an i5-2500k and Im going to oc it to 4.5ghz for my new upgrade gtx 1080. Im also installing a few more fans for better cooling. The psu is an Ocz modxtream pro 600w.

What do you guys think about it?

Hi - A good quality 600w unit is more than sufficient, and that unit was average when new. However, new
was in 2008, I'd seriously consider upgrading it if you're going with a high end GPU.

Ok thank you for the info. I just spent some time today looking for the ideal PSU and I came across this seasonic g650 which seem to be an excellent choice. There is the x650 one aswell but isn't it kind of overkill?

I wouldn't say overkill as it is also a 650w unit. I would say the G650 would do fine with your system, and
would be tranferable to a new system in the future. I would opt for the X650 if the price difference was
close (but I'm biased as i have the X650!)
