Have you changed your ram because you didn't like the way they looked anymore?

Your ram runs fine and it's fast but you want to change it cause it doesn't please you aesthetically. Has anyone ever done that? I'm asking because my Corsair Dominator Platinum is good but I don't like how they look anymore. I want something with LEDs like the Vengeance or Gskill.

ofc, today we live in a world where the looks are very important and people just want something new every time. its normal cause we´ve changed. just buy something new if you can afford it. in 60 - 70 years when the life may come to an end you should look back and tell yourself that you got a wonderfull life, so just buy what you want and enjoy your life

Sorta. I had a set of Mushkin Silverline Enhanced DDR3-1800. I swapped it out for some Klevv Urbane DDR3-2800 even though I know the performance difference is minimal. Does look nice in there though.

LEDs and stuff is not my cup of tea, I want it to look sophisticated not like some light up shoes I had when I was 10. That is my opinion though, lots of people love having lights all over the place. I am seriously considering opening up my Sound Blaster Z and removing that darn red LED too.

The only part I may have changed because I did not like the way it 'looked' would be a monitor. Because....well...its the monitor.

I couldn't tell you what 'color' the Corsair RAM is, without reorganizing the desk and turning the case around so the window faces me.
Or looking up my Amazon order.

Looks is a distant 3rd behind performance and price.

Nope. Installed 32 GB a while ago now. it works fine. I dont look at it every day lol. Since the case is on the floor
