Extension Cord To Power My UPS

I need an extension cord to power my UPS because the good outlet is on the other side of the room. Will this extension cord work for a 1500VA 900W UPS.

Is this safe? I am pretty bad with this kind of stuff so I am not really sure 🙁

You'll be alright if theirs an ground fault in place, an not cut off the cable, an its not a 50 to100 ft Cord or Better, lol Plus I wouldn't run a extension cord any more then about 7 to 15 feet max in length or you'll be changing the power out put level from the wall out-let, to with the end of your cable out-lets, For instance you might be getting 110-120 volts at the wall, but adding a core creates more distance, lowering the overall power at the end of your cable to maybe 105-115,with extension cords, you probably lose 2 to 10 volts depending on the (gauge) of your Cord an or Cable, the shorter & thicker the gauge of the cable the less power you'll lose, Over Kill Is better, Short, Fat, Cords, Three prong with the ground, Good Luck
