I already replaced my CMOS battery yesterday and the last time I replaced the battery was 1 1/2 months ago. I'm using an Energizer brand one. I want to know what's happening in my motherboard since due to experience I know that CMOS batteries last for atleast 1 year.

mb: foxconn g41mxe
cmos battery brand: Energizer Cr2032 3v

Solution

then it is not grounded properly. Contact an electrician and get it properly grounded. This would solver your issue

I think their is earthing (ground current) problem of your pc. Check earthing is proper.
Check if mobo screw connect with cabinet.
Change battery different store and some other brand.
It is usually motherboard fault if cmos battery drains quickly.

Check if it is not giving off any unwanted electric current.
