So the thing is Im trying to build a new gaming pc for the budget upto rs.60k and what i wanna ask is which OS should I buy for a good gaming performance at 60 fps. By the way the GPU I chose is evga gtx 1060 6gb. So plz tell me which OS is the best? Which supports all the graphics cards?

Solution
It kinda depends a lot on your choice of games. For example, if you're into classic/old games (like me), Windows 10 might not support them anymore. Granted, many of the older games are getting remasters and remakes for modern systems. So for classics, go for Windows 7.

However, if you want an OS that'll support hardware for years to come, Windows 10 is your best bet. It is also worth noting that Windows 10 is in the works of being optimized for gaming, so for modern games it really is the best choice.

Go for windows 7 it is best os for running game. Go for windows 10 if you want to secure your future. Windows 10 updates are quite frequent as they are covering all bugs and flaws but windows 7 is perfect in that case and supports all graphic card.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from rohan0703 : "Windows 7 vs Windows 8.1 vs Windows 10"

It all depends on your choice of games. In short, if you wanna play older ones, get Win7, if you want to play recent games, go for Win10.

Windows 7 is probably the most popular choice as its versatile and supports major drivers and software but its kinda nearing the end of its lifetime, maybe a couple more years and its done. For most recent GPUs, Win7 supports all of them and their drivers, but for how long it can keep it up, I can't say.

Windows 8.1 is like an awkward middle child that doesn't know what to do actually. I would not recommend it for gaming over Windows 10 and that being said......

Windows 10 is the most recent OS from Microsoft and its gonna get updates that'll make it even better. That and it supports all software, hardware and drivers that have come out in recent years and will support all in the years to come. It also is well optimized for gaming in general so you can't go wrong with it. For your build, its actually the best choice. Many people would recommend Win7 over Win10, and that's fine considering that Win10 doesn't support many older games and you can't run some software on it, but most older games are receiving remasters and remakes anyways, which is what people don't realize.
