So I'm building a custom Gaming PC.I'm using the Gigabyte GA-Z170M mATX mobo:http://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z170M-D3H-rev-10#ov
I was wondering if the pre-existing ethernet port on the mobo could be used for internet. If the pre-existing ethernet port can't be used for wired internet, the I'm gonna buy a wired internet card(PCIe)and I'm going to buy a USB Wi-Fi adapter. Please answer this question because why not amirite??

If you plan on using WiFi at any point in time then yes. If it's staying in your office/room with easy access to Ethernet cable then no you probably don't "need" one.
Ethernet is standard, there are no ethernet for Internet and ethernet for something else. U see ethernet, anywhere, it will get you to the Internet, assuming of course, and am even embarrassed I have have to say this, your house is wired for ethernet.
