Not real sure about the full scope of your question.
However, if you set up a network using one router with wired and wireless capabilities then all devices (wired and wireless) on that router's network should be able to communicate.
There are numerous tutorials online about how to set up a network. Plus the User Guides/Manuals for most routers will provide guidence.
Computers with different OS's (Windows 10 and Windows 7) may be configured to join the same network.
May be some differences with respect to the configuration process.
However, more information is needed if there is some issue with the multipplayer game itself and some specific networking requirement(s).
