Direct x error while gaming

Hello everyone.

As the title says i cant play some games, I get different lines and dots on the screen, after a couple of seconds my game freezes and an error message pops up. I tried reinstalling graphics driver but it didnt help. So what should I do?

Looks like you're playing Fifa 17?

Bit of searching I found this link to an EA site, folks having similar issues: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Fifa-17-directx-function-error/td-p/5590346

On the first page, 10 posts down, there's a possible fix listed. It has to do with editing registry entries - if you're not sure how to do this, then then the possible fix isn't for you.

Another possible solution is on the 3rd page, listed from an EA employee, here's his post:

Particularly with more recent versions of Windows secondary installations can be skipped when setting up FIFA 17. Please right click on the following setup files and 'Run as Administrator':

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA...
