Hoping for some guidance here. I started overclocking my 4790k today. I got it to 4.5 stable on stock voltage, so i decided to try 4.6. That bsod almost immediately, so i increased voltage to 1.2v and tried again. I started running prime 95 when i got another bsod. So i went into the bios and tried 1.21v. Now i can't get it to go into windows. It just hangs with the windows 10 logo. I have win 10 on a ssd, so it's usually pretty fast. If i reset the comuputer it will go to the windows screen and say preparing automatic recovery tool, but never goes past that. I went back into the bios and reverted it all to stock, but it still won't go into windows.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Performing Windows Startup Repair will at least get your PC to a bootable state. It's quick and simple, and all you need is a USB stick to create Windows installation media.

Your Windows install's been damaged. Either Restore Windows from a system image or perform a Windows Startup repair from installation media. Then I suggest running 'sfc /scannow' and then use DISM utility to repair any corrupted system files.
