I have recently made my first custom built computer with:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card
AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor
MSI 970 Gaming AMD AM3 GBE LAN ATX Motherboard
HyperX FURY 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 1866 MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit - Red
And some normal 2x8GB ram cards (DDR3) (they aren't hyper-x I pulled them from my old computer)
And a 2tb storage size that is almost all gone
I have a 1000 watt power supply and a network adapter card inside

With this set up which I thought would perform pretty good seems to still show noticeable frame rate lag in just basic games
Is there any reason for this perhaps there is a problem with the 2 different ram cards or what I don't know
Please help

If any more information is needed please ask

What stands out as the most likely cause of performance issues is your CPU. Unfortunately the FX range are really weak by modern standards, they use a 6+ year old design which was only average when new. A modern Pentium or i3 will usually outperform the FX8XXX series for gaming and a modern i5 is a big leap ahead.

As a rule of thumb I wouldn't pair anything higher than a GTX 1060 with an FX cpu.
