I went to boot up my laptop this afternoon and was greeted with a message saying no boot disk was detected. I took took it out and plugged it into my desktop where the bios could not find it either. Then when I took it out I almost burned my hand trying to get it off! The thing got really hot just in the 5 minutes i was in the bios, there's no temperature sensor but I'll just say it's painful holding onto for more then 5 seconds. Do ssd's normally operate that hot? Could it be part of the reason why it's not detected in bios?
