should i sell my r9 270x and buy gtx 1050 for lower tdp?

Sell it. Right now the ebay prices of the 270x are falling rapidly. I say you'd get no more than 80 dollars out of it unless you're looking to scam someone. The prices will keep falling until you can't sell it for squat. You can pick up a 1050 for around 100 dollars, so you'd really only pay 20 dollars for the upgrade and you'd get lower tdp, higher performance, and it's an all-round better card. Again, if you're planning on selling the 270x, do it ASAP or you won't get much out of it.

If you need an upgrade then go ahead and sell the card, hardware prices only fall as time goes on.
That being said, the 1050 would not be worthy of the investment. Its not quite a large enough performance increase to warrant the purchase, TDP considered.
Get at least a 1050Ti at minimum for a reasonable upgrade.
TDP is also not a very important thing to consider for a situation like this.

I would agree with Gam3r01's statement above if you're willing to spend some more on a 1050ti or an RX460.
If you just want newer technology that's around the same performance as the 270x, but not much of an upgrade, then get the 1050.

yes i know its not an upgrade its almost same performance i just want newer technology and lower tdp, coz it already cover my need in gaming, multimedia etc. i know its better to take a 1060 or 470 but im just poor student well not even student lol
