ASUS Z270F - Chassis Intrude! Fatal Error!

Playing around with options in BIOS, accidentally enabled chassis intrusion detection. My build is an open-case test bench one and there's nothing wrong with it at all.

There was never a cap on the two detection pins. Even if I put a metal wire around which connects them both, it shows the same problem.

How do I fix this?

  1. Disable it in the BIOS the same way you enabled it

I can't get to BIOS. It says "Fatal Error" and then I cant do anything at all.

Remove the battery for a min then put in back in. Then you'll have to reconfigure the bios settings

Or reboot press / spam the del key so you can get into the BIOS

Thanks for trying but I found the solution myself after 28 hours of head scratching that I blew my $1165 build xD ...

    It was simpler than that.

  5. Removing the battery will do the same thing
