Hi guys,

I have had this steering wheel lying collecting dust, recently started playing again.
I have the drivers for it.. on floppy.. and that can't be read any more.

now the problem is: I don't know the brand, I don't know the type.
It's bought in the Netherlands, about 10 years ago I'd say. It's a generic cheap thing. Costed 40 euro at the time I think. But it would be awesome to be able to use it again, it still works and I hate throwing good stuff out.
anybody got some tips / hints I would much appreciate it!

is there anything written on the bottom of the wheel ? look for an information.

you can try Microsoft drivers if you want to ... but I doubt it will work , this is non standard I think.

try Microsoft wheel drivers , try Logitics ones , other companies , keep trying this is the only easy way ..

look for old models in sites , download the driver and try it until it works.

there is another way , if you can unscrew it and look at the board inside and see the chip used .. once we know the chip used .. the rest is easy very easy

thanks TTT and Paul.

when it did power on, few months ago, I hooked it up, but didnt get any response on my pc, it was not recognising anything.
I was thinking of building this in an old dashboard I have lying around, so opening up will happen at some point.
just wanted to test it before starting the project.
I'll try to get power back on it, test the usb connection/cable with multi meter.
