I have just made a clean clean install of Win 10 creators edition, after having been on the fast ring for previews. This at least has stopped further forced downloads. I thought a clean install would keep everything running fine, but was I wrong.
Having loaded all software so many things fail! Word won't work from a short cut on the desktop, but will from the start menu. The desktop icon just flags up " this app won't work on this machine.... Tried deleting icon and replacing, but still u/s.
Cannot sign in to apps such as Spotify - login page just freezes and Microsoft account doesn't want to know me, whether by user name, email address, phone number, skype address.
Only thing I can think of is problem with with administrator priveges.
Any help would be appreciated as it is driving me nuts. Nearly tempted to return to Win7!
