Hello, I have got my computer which has intergrated AMD graphics and a gigabyte motherboard. and I am buying a gigabyte nvidia gtx 1050 but there are no free hdmi ports left, only pci slots can I install the graphics card but still use the ports at the back

Solution
The videocard has its own ports on the back, you don't need 'free' ports. So you install the videocard and plug your monitor into the required port on the videocard. Nothing will be plugged into the motherboard ports at the back.

actually you can use my provided links and combine the two cards and get a better overall result since you have a Sandy Bridge. Let me know what you think this will allow . This will make you capable of running three or more monitors at the same time. with no hick-ups ..

Yeah, thats nothing new, I use a monitor on my IGPU and a monitor on my GTX card.

My point in the post was there was no reason for him not to just use the GTX card.

Rob,
I have an i7 2600 and its an HP pc and board with NVidia 560ti, HP has limitations on my bios access so it wont allow me to access the IGP setting. I'm trying to use three monitors. the card has two dvi-I and on mini hdmi but wont allow me to use all three as independents. please advise you seem knowledgeable enough.

Greatly appreciated

Thank you Rob,
I was able to get all monitors working. hp BIOS is very basic so, It was just a matter of enabling the dedicated. And using both cards as suggested. I'm now looking to change my BIOS to something other than the HP factory brand Optima, I'm sure what other brand is compatible with z210 workstation? I would like to have something with more advanced configurations yet compatible.
