Got thermal paste remover on CPU pins

Hi guys, I was cleaning out my CPU and some ArctiClean leaked over to the other side where the pins were. It has dried, but seems to be darker than the non-soaked area. Should I use some isopropyl alcohol and try clean it?

If you have some high % (95%+) isopropyl alcohol you can spray it off, or just put some in a bowl and use a spoon to pour alcohol over the area. It's good to have some around anyways and CVS sells 99% for ~$4.

You'll bend the pins if you try to clean them. Looks like you applied too much. All you need is a small dab of ArctiClean or isopropyl alcohol. Rub in a circular motion and it will come right off.
