Hello I have a Dell optiolex 7040 it's still new, I am planning to get 300W but I have heard incompatibility Issues and all I can do is stick with my r7 240 which is not cool since I have an i7 6700k and the only struggle is the psu it's 240w and I am trying to get a Gtx 1050Ti

I have researched few sources And I am considering buying a tfx psu but I am not sure if it will make interference with the other components please give some links for Psu that can Fit since it's different than small factors dells

If you are planning to have a system with a gaming video card, sell this one or return it, get one with a standard motherboard and PSU or build your own. Or remove all parts from the system, toss the case, power supply and motherboard, buy those and build a new setup re-using the CPU, RAM and hard drive. You will need to re-install Windows after doing that. Trying to cludge together a system from OEM parts that were not designed for upgrading will just end up in frustration or a lot of wasted time trying to fit a 10 lb object into a 5 lb container.
