I want to dual boot windows 10 and windows 7 on my SSD. I am currently on Windows 7 and I have 164GB free on my SSD. When I try to shrink the volume it only shows that I can do 12676MB. How can I get more space to be allocated?
Try defragging it first, before shrinking. Deleting useless (or easy-to-replace) videos / MP3s / photos will surely help. You can store these on external drive / flash disk.
