Hi, I'm currently looking for the best bang-for-buck 1080p gaming rig, under $1200 CAD. I have been researching for around 3 months now, and I want to see what some of your opinions are as to what is the best $1200 CAD gaming build is.

If you can please us pcpartpicker.com, with Canadian prices, that would be greatly appreciated!

PC Use (Most-Least Important): Gaming, school work, internet browsing, watching videos (youtube)

Needs:
- A 480GB-525GB SSD (No HDD required)
- Must be able to run the latest AAA games at an average fps of 60+ (Eg: BO3, Overwatch, DOOM)
- Just a PC (No OS/Peripherals)
- 2x8GB DDR4 RAM sticks (16GB total, doesn't matter what Mhz)

Wants(Don't really need but appreciated if included):
- Black and Red gaming theme (Or Black and White)
- Z270 Keyboard (Preferably Z270-A Pro)
- Case that comes with 2-3 pre-installed fans (Preferably NZXT S340 Black and Red/Black and White)

Thank you for putting your time into helping me making a good, first pc! I really appreciated all of you who have put your valuable time into trying to help me, a novice, make a better gaming rig! Thanks ya'll!!

This is right on the verge of your budget, but take a look anyway: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bQHwXH

I built this box, based on very similar design requirements as yours (esp the bang-for-the-buck value), and I'm very happy with it. Super fast, plenty of top-rate FPS performance on AAA titles and Max settings, superfast boot, silent as the grave. Also, the case has a Red/Black option (which I used). Comes with one enormous 200mm front intake fan, and I just added a couple of 140s (with some red LED bling) to improve exhaust throughput.

Beware: I put a K chip on a non-OC mobo (don't ask why), so either dumb down the chip or up the mobo so they make more sense together.

Otherwise, this is a build I'm proud of. See if it...

The cpu cooler will probably not be AM4 ready so might need an additional bracket from Cooler Master,

Thos cpu comes with a stock cooler so you can wait until AM4 compatibility isn't such an issue anymore.

That second build is pretty similar to what I was thinking, and it's awesome! Thanks for your advice, I really appreciate it :)
However, would u prefer the Sapphire Radeon RX 480 4GB NITRO+ 4G Video Card over the Gtx 1060 6gb? I can spend an extra $50 and invest in the gtx 1060 instead of the Sapphire Radeon RX 480 4GB NITRO+ 4G Video Card. Would that be a more viable option?
