So here's the thing, I'm looking for a GPU that wont break the bank but will give me what I need and maybe more. With my current setup I'm gaming at 1080p 60-75Hz.

Just Bought a new monitor with Freesync so I'm thinking maybe an RX 480 to take advantage of Freesync? I'm open to Ideas here.

I would be completely satisfied (for now), with a GPU that can equate to a PS 4 Pro. If that helps. Heres my rig:

Asus VG245H Monitor
Gigabyte H170 Gamimg 3 MB
HyperX Fury 2x4GB DDR4 RAM
Core i5 6600
GTX 750 ti 2GB
PNY 500GB SSD
Corsair CX600 PSU
NZXT H440 Mid Tower

Thanks guys!

For 1080P the 4gb would be fine until a newer better card comes out. Although if your considering the Scorpio then I would look into the GTX 1070 8gb as it's a great price/performance buy. The GTX 1070 is a bit overkill for 1080P however if you utilize Nvidia DSR then you can run games at a higher resolution then downscale them to fit your monitor which results in a smoother image. I typically use it for DBZ:Xenoverse 2 and Naruto games and it makes a noticeable difference.

The GTX 1070 should easily run all your games @1080P/75+ FPS on the highest settings.

The RX 480 4gb would be a good choice for that monitor/refresh rate/Freesync.

As you can see from the site/relative performance chart the RX 480 will be better then the GPU in the PS4 Pro.

Hey Wildcard, fancy hearing from you again lol. Thanks, again, for you input. So, if I did decide on the 480, Which would be the best version? I know there are a bunch of manufacturers that do their own thing with them. Does it even matter?

I knew the name and monitor looked familiar :p . The difference between them is pretty minor, some are clocked higher, some have better cooling, etc. It's pretty much whichever company you prefer but typically the good ones are from MSI, ASUS, GIGABYTE, SAPPHIRE & XFX. The Gigabyte I recommended is good for the price.

Ahhh I see. Just out of sheer curiosity, if I wanted to upgrade my rig to more closely preform like XBOX Scorpio, What GPU/other parts would I need to upgrade?

Since I'm no pro lol, Here are some specs based on Digital Foundries review:

CPU: Eight custom x86 cores clocked at 2.3GHz
GPU: 40 customized compute units at 1,172MHz
Memory: 12GB GGDR5
Memory bandwidth: 326 Gbps
Hard drive: 1TB (2.5-inch)
Optical drive: 4K UHD Blu-ray

This being said, my rig will match/beat this with an RX 480? (I'm guessing the 8GB version)

Ok great. Sry for all the questions. I'm just debating whether I wanna drop $500-600+ on Scorpio or just get some new parts that may cost me less.

About the RX, would 8GB be overkill? Do you think by the time I'll need more than 4GB there will be a better card? I mean I guess the price difference isnt huge...
