Alright, so I got two brand new EVGA Hybrid 1080s (not FTW Hybrids) like two weeks ago. They have performed solid in every game I've thrown at them and have never gone past 50C even at 100% utilization. I have played Battlefield several times and had zero issues with noise or temps. However, yesterday when I booted the system I noticed the fans were running at a much higher RPM and after checking temps, the top card reported around 60C, while the bottom card reported its usual 34C. I booted battlefield and before the game even fully loaded the fans went to 100% and the temp supposedly rose to 94C. The card (and rad) were cool to the touch. I'm sure I'll have to RMA the card, but I'm hoping someone may know if the issue is something else.
