Hey guys , im looking to build my first pc . Im on an extremely tight budget and dont want to go for the 1060 unless its absolutely worth it. I will be playing fps games like csgo etc etc on low settings (A few settings on high) to achieve maximum frame rate. i play csgo on 800x600 stretched and want to achieve 200+ fps. I will only occasionally play open world games which i'll be happy to play with a stable fps . But i will predominantly be playing fps games online .So i just want to know if i should get the 1060 or 1050ti .

What i already have:
i5 6600
HyperX 8Gb Ram
H110 mobo
(havent purchased a PSU yet but would like some suggestions)

Any help is appreciated :)

Ghost Recon is a pretty demanding game, if you actually want to play on high the GTX 1060 6GB is necessary. However, considering that you're probably playing in 1080p at 144hz? I'd get the RX 480 4GB, will be almost as fast as the GTX 1060 6GB at a lower cost. The 1050 ti only makes sense if you have a system with a crappy PSU. For the PSU you'd probably want something like this

and here's the cheapest RX 480 right now

In my country the 1060 and the RX 480 are almost the same price :/

If you're on a very tight budget, then a quality power supply and the 1050 Ti are what you should get. Don't get a cheap power supply so you can spend more on the videocard.

A good compromise might be an RX 470 plus the good power supply, depending on how expensive the 470 is. It's a step up from a 1050 Ti in performance and is usually less expensive than a 480 or 1060. Either way, get yourself a good power supply first, then spend whatever money you have left on the card.
