Hello everyone!
I had an older pc and i decided to upgrade it with minimum cost. but the problem was my knowledge on hardware. what i know is how to shoot zee germans. so my older pc was;
asus P5Q3 mainboard
intel core2duo e6600 cpu
sapphire nvidia 9800gt gpu
dd3 2x 2gb 1066 mhz ram
and a samsung hdd
then i upgraded it to;
same mainboard
intel core 2 quad q9400 cpu
zotac gtx 750 Ti 2gb gddr5 128 bit 2xdvi mini hdmi
same ram
same hhd
ssd addition; samsung 750 EVO 250 gb 540/520
windows 8 is the operation system.
i've set up windows on ssd, updated all the drivers.
However; ssd storage is about 94gb total. stereo sound is gone. windows is very very slow, worse than older version. and when i put an usb memory to any of the slots (2.0 or 3.0) pc is incredibly slow. copy paste is not even working for hours, saying "calculating". i've tried re-updating drivers, malware fighters but no change at all.
before i change the mainboard, i'm afraid to waste money (again).
internet says i can use ssd 3.0 on sata 2.0 with limited speed but i have like no speed at all.
my computer has no heating problem. i have akasa venom etc.
So, please help!
