Upon getting the Radeon RX 480, ive noticed an issue with the fans. The fans only come on randomly, I cant really control it. As I cant use MSI Afterburner, I dont know why, I went to other programs, starting off with the Radeon Software, that only lets me change the threshold, which still doesnt really work because it doesnt turn on until 10 degrees after "max", and SpeedFan, which once again let me change the threshold, but doesnt allow me the option to run at a constant RPM like MSI Afterburner. Additionally, I cant find a program that also lets me monitor the GPU usuage. So not having MSI Afterburner is a problem.

Specific Card Model-
PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon RX 480

So, is there a way to get MSI Afterburner to work on the card, and if not, what other program should i use? And, is there another program that'll let me monitor my GPU usage.

OMG. Bad choice LMAO! The PowerColor and Sapphire's RX480's are really bad. Lots of people report issues with them. Get an RMA. Doesn't work? Get a MSI/Gigabyte RX480. Both are awsome. BTW, it's supposed for both to start working at 50/605%. Any more problems, tell me.

I have somewhat fixed it, there is no way to permanently have it run a consistent rpm, or really have it on constantly. At idle it turns off and on, going from above the "max" , to below the target, and while running a game, i tested Overwatch, Battlegrounds, and GTA V, it will vary in RPM's ,depending on your thresholds, but it will constantly be on. Temps are fine at idle and while on stress, so its pretty fine with me. I graze the 55* C while gaming.

Do you know any other issues that have been reported with it?

BSOD's are amoung the various issues. Also, do the following: get Valley 3D Benchmark and run the test at ULTRA. See the temps, watch for the fan's activity and then report it here. Maybe with some extra data I can help you a lot more :]
