I'm upgrading from FX 8350, so I know I need a new mobo and DDR4. I am leaning towards the 1600 because the 1600x doesn't have a fan, and price is somewhat of an issue. I have a HD 7950 video card. I do a lot of photoshop and video editing in Premiere Pro. Do you think this chip will be good, or should I consider spending more on 1600x or one of the 1700's. Also what is a good mobo to pair with this. Thanks,

I think the 1600 is the best priced by a fair stretch mate personally.
Good performance , comes with a decent cooler - exactly the same upgrade I'm making myself from an fx 8 core.

Mb - for me (after a fair bit of research) its going to be the the asrock b350 pro 4.
