Hello. Being a gamer I tend to notice my ping in games and thus I noticed that my ping in certain days is around 50-100( discord) and 70-110 (Overwatch). It will stay stable but one set of days it will be low and then for quite a while it might reach procedurally to the high counterpart.Could someone let me know what might cause this problem so I can arrange it? Also, could it be something like my router causing this? Once, after intense downloading I noticed my connection would drop many times and my ping was really high and that stopped like 1 day after I ceased the downloading.I read somewhere about the rooter having its ram occupied and not releasing it after the process that required it stopped.

Of course you are going to have higher ping times when you are downloading stuff. Only so much data is allowed to be sent to your house based on what you have purchased. If the connection is busy sending download files the ISP will delay your other data...they likely will even drop it.

You should only use ethernet connection wireless has lots of random delays in ping times.

Delays in the internet can also be because because of overloads in the path between you and the server
