Hello,

I have:

Mobo : Asus PRIME B350M-A
Memory : Vengeance® LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz C16 Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2A2666C16)
CPU : Ryzen 1700X

By default the memory runs at 2133mhz. I tried 2666, even 2400 but I was getting the "failed overclocking" message at POST. After the latest BIOS update I got it working with 2400. Just changing the speed setting, nothing else.

Later, i've found that I should use the D.O.C.P. profile, but after setting it I get no video, no "failed overclocking" message, nothing. Not even a beep from the speaker. Clearing the CMOS works, but I want to run it at least at 2666, not 2400.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Mihai

dude i bought exactly these two yesterday
This was our mistake cause vengeance lpx 2x4gb 2666mhz is not compatible with asus prime b350m-a at the moment
this is the qvl list ( https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-B350M-A/HelpDesk_QVL/ )
we should just stick to 2400mhz until we get the latest drives
I personally have a ryzen 5 1500x and i believe this platform is going to get constant compatibility updates
