Need help choosing an option for a video card.

So my current situation is that there is a guy selling used r9 290 and r9 290x for 60 bucks and i cant get them separately. I was thinking of getting the r9 290x and selling the r9 290 but since i am building my ryzen build. Should i stick with my rx 480 or rx 580( if prices are good ill get 580)??

If you have the money to go for 480 or 580, why thinking about used old card? Esp that 290x needs a lot of power, so you would need much beefier PSU.

well the thing is i have a 750 wat psu so no prob at all. Also i could sell them both for a bit higher when i am done using them for a replacement

Ok, so the only remaining problem is to make sure they work without problems. If both do, then I guess for 60 $ it's not bad deal.
